Siebel Download & Installation

Siebel installable are available to be downloaded from the oracle university website:
https://edelivery.oracle.com/

Steps to Download the installables:

1) To download the installable for windows OS choose the following options.

2) For generic siebel callcenter application select the option

Siebel Business Applications Release 8.1.1.0 Media Pack for Microsoft Windows (32-bit)

3) For downloading the Dedicated client download the following options

i) Siebel Business Applications Version 8.1.1.0 Siebel Client (Part 1 of 2)

ii) Siebel Business Applications Version 8.1.1.0 Siebel Client (Part 2 of 2)

iii) Siebel Business Applications Version 8.1.1.0 Siebel Client Part 2 (Part 1 of 2)

iv) Siebel Business Applications Version 8.1.1.0 Siebel Client Part 2 (Part 2 of 2)

v) Siebel Business Applications Version 8.1.1.0 Siebel Tools

vi) Siebel Business Applications Version 8.1.1.0 ImageCreator Files

vii) Siebel Business Applications Version 8.1.1.0 English Language Extension Pack (Part 1 of 2)

viii) Siebel Business Applications Version 8.1.1.0 English Language Extension Pack (Part 2 of 2)

Additional if server installation is also required download the packs

i)   Siebel Business Applications Version 8.1.1.0 Base Applications for Windows (Part 1 of 2)

ii) Siebel Business Applications Version 8.1.1.0 Base Applications for Windows (Part 2 of 2)

4) Once downloaded the extract the imagecreator utility (downloaded step 3- vi) & run the utility to create the installation image of siebel.

5) Install the Siebel Tools, Siebel Web Client & Sample Database. (Bare minimum installation required to start with siebel hands on)
